Who is interested in the Eurovision Song Contest?

Denmark and Norway withdrawn for 2006 with the reason that the competition is too much pressure for the children. They returned to the old MGP Nordic, but Sweden will participate with the Swedish broadcaster TV4. Another Danish broadcaster wasn't interested, as well Norway withdrew with no independent broadcaster to take over. United Kingdom's ITV experienced extremely low viewers for the contests over the past years and were not interested with continuing with it. This makes it the United Kingdom's first absence from the Eurovision Song Contest in any shape or form since 1958.
