Carson Wayne Newton (born April 3, 1942) is an American singer and entertainer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He performed over 25,000 concerts in Las Vegas over a period of over 40 years, earning him the nickname Mr. Las Vegas. Most recently, he performed at the Stardust resort in Las Vegas for 40 weeks out of the year until 2005, in a showroom that was named after him in 1999.
