What are web journals?

A new portal for open access journals, listing more than 3,500 English-language open access journals, was launched recently from India. This free portal is called Open J-Gate and was developed by Informatics (India) Ltd, Bangalore. Open J-Gate's list of journals includes nearly 2,000 peer-reviewed journals. The portal also acts as an article index service for articles published in these 3,500 journals.
