Question

What are the provinces in Canada?

Answer

As shown by the map to the left, the North American nation of Canada is a federation which consists of ten provinces that, together with three territories, make up the world's second largest country in total area. The major difference between a Canadian province and a territory is that a province receives powers directly from the Crown, via the Constitution Act, 1867, thus granting relatively greater authority to provinces, whereas territories derive their mandates from the Canadian federal government.
