Question
Tell me about plumbing?
Answer
Clog Foot or, "Putréfaction d'entrave", was first diagnosed as a real disease by a french military surgeon called Francis La'compt in 1343 during the Hundred Years' War. During the war many conscript soldiers were given wrong sized shoes because the military could not afford vast quantities of leather. The french King discovered it cheaper for the french army to have the men who didn't have fitting shoes to carve clogs out of wood from nearby woodland. Because the french regiments were constantly on the move, and rarely out of conflict the men were instructed to sleep, dress and wash in their swords, shields and shoes so that if they were surprise attacked they would be ready whatever.
