Is there a long distance company?

SBC Long Distance is not affiliated with AT&T Communications, the incumbent long distance carrier for most of the country acquired in the SBC merger with AT&T. SBC Long Distance does not compete for long distance service to SNET customers, whom are served by SNET America.
