Is the world going to end on 31 December 1999?

The origins of this Pay-Per-View however originated from a promo The Undertaker performed in which he said "What used to be known as SummerSlam is now known as Armageddon" prior to the SummerSlam event in 1999. WWE did not, at the time, have a proper Pay-Per-View event for the month of December (going from "Rock Bottom" and "D-Generation X" in previous years for December) and therefore Armageddon was taken.
