Fortuny himself is unapologetic, writing to internet raconteur Tucker Max, "Let's milk this. All the way. There must be a way to combine this. Into money. Money is important. Money is good." A thread on Tucker Max's message board that contained the content of the e-mail and related discussion was deleted shortly thereafter. The first page of the thread on Tucker Max's message board, which includes Fortuny's original email and several responses (including the "Let's milk this..." quote) is cached on Google. Weeks after the prank Fortuny appeared in an online interview where he boasted that no one had sued him, but he added that "If some good privacy law came from this, I'd actually be really pleased."
