Mushroom hunting (or mushrooming) is the activity of searching for mushrooms in the wild, typically for consumption. It is popular in the Baltic and Nordic countries and in Slavic cultures (see mushroom picking in Slavic culture). It is also popular in some Southern European countries like Italy and Spain, especially in Catalonia, where there is a popular TV program about it called Caçadors de bolets (Mushroom hunters) in TV3.
