The song helped an American family from Texas fight a case against the RIAA when their computer was found containing over 500 illegally downloaded music files. The 15-year-old daughter Elisa Greubel wrote a letter to MC Lars and Nettwerk Music Group's executive, Terry McBride who got several artists managed by Nettwerk to support the Greubels (including Avril Lavigne, The Barenaked Ladies and Sarah McLachlan).
