Question
How do I build my endurance?
Answer
Critics claim that Furey claims that his high-repetition, low-intensity exercises such as Hindu squats, will build strength. However, what Furey actually claims is that the the hindu squats that he recommends, if done like he recommends them, are a high-intensity strength and endurance building exercise that has stood the test of time. Hindu squats are just one of a family of exercises that build functunal fighting strength and muscular endurance. They have been used by champion wrestlers in India for centuries and were also adopted by many champion wrestlers in the USA since the 19th century. These exercises are high intensity and leave muscles feeling "pumped" and "burning" just like any other high intensity exercise. Unfortunately, despite the high intensity nature of Furey's Indian wrestling exercises, followers of Arthur Jones have tried to hijack the term "high intensity" and claim that it only means low-rep heavy-weight lifting of mass-produced iron plates for the purposes of bodybuilding. To Arthur Jones followers, anything else is not high intesity, but to most other people, Matt Furey's Indian Wrestling exercises are definitely high intensity.
