How can I help my child cope with the death of his father?

Claire is an adopted child and the identity of her biological parents is one of the series' mysteries. Her adoptive father, Mr. Bennet, appears to be merely a mild-mannered businessman at first glance, always loving and supportive of Claire; actually he is a shadowy figure that secretly travels the world investigating superhuman phenomena. Claire is still unaware of her father's activities, but Mr. Bennet knows of his daughter’s powers, having observed them after stealing a videotape from Zach's backpack.
