At what speed does the earth rotate?

Primarily by comparing the time of travel of seismic waves caused by earthquakes, several layers have been identified inside the Earth. The core does not allow such waves to pass through it, while the speed of travel is different in the other layers. The changes in speed cause timing differences and bend the path of wave travel.
